We now have new funding which enables Tenants on benefits to apply for a First time Central Heating system grant FTCH. This is for Tenants or home owners who have existing electric panel heaters / Storage heaters, apply now for the first time new gas boiler system.

The Scheme was introduced in MARCH 2017 to reduce the UK's energy Consumptionand to help households living in fuel poverty. This is achieved by funding energy efficient improvements worth over 1.5 billion every year.

The ECO will help reduce Carbon emmissions from the UK's domestic building stock.

How the ECO is funded

The ECO is funded by the energy suppliers.

Energy suppliers will provide the funding directly to the customers.

The ECO Carbon saving Obligation is worth around £760 Million each year.

If your Gas boiler is over 6 years old or faulty you may qualify for a free boiler.

low income households 

If your in reciept of benefits such as Child Benefit, Child Tax Credits, Working Tax Credits, Income support, Employment support allowance or Job seekers allowance and have a child 15 years or under then you may qualify for a free boiler with absolutley no cost to you. 

You may also qualify if you recieve benefits and have a child 20 years or under and in full time education or if you recieve Working Tax Credit / Child tax Credit and have a annual income of £42000 or less, Child Tax Credits.

Free Gas Boiler Grant for Pensioners

If your 60 or over and in reciept of Pension Credits, then you could be entiteled to a free energy efficient boiler under the ECO Scheme, if your house doesnt have any heating system installed you could also qualify for upto 6 free radiators. Installation is also covered in the grant you wont pay nothing at all.
